The most common mistake is tiling directly over the old waterproofing instead of fully renewing it. The second common mistake is insufficient ventilation, leading to mould in grout lines and silicone joints. The third mistake is incorrectly executing the slope towards the drain, so water pools on the floor instead of draining away in a controlled manner. We systematically check all three points on every bathroom renovation before the new tiles are laid.
